Closed Doors
Closed Doors is the story of Channu, a British-Indian father desperate for his son to hold onto his Indian traditions. Kamal, their more westernised Indian neighbour across the road, has just announced he’s throwing a wedding on the same day as Channu’s family. Proud, Channu is prepared to compete wherever he can.

It's important that stories from other cultures make it to the screen, so that we as an audience can observe and understand the world from another viewpoint. Screenwriter, Amman Kayla, wrote a 12 minute short that dives into the common story of families transitioning from living in one culture to another.
